A Squeak image is a file which stores an exact copy of a running Squeak's memory with all objects - class definitions, processes, content etc. - and can be loaded by a squeak vm to resume execution from that point. New releases of the Squeak environment usually consist of a new image file. Managing squeak images is an important skill for a squeaker.
